Kinich has lived his life as usual, doing the same things every day for many years. He keeps everyone at arms length, and others only get close enough to hand him money or shake his hand.

Then, he meets Mualani by some stroke of fate and his life is flipped upside down. Things aren't the same anymore and he starts to want for things that have before turned his stomach.
