Description:

Zelda’s struggle to unlock her powers had been well known. Some had offered her their unsolicited advice, and she’d been forced to stand there and listen, her smile frosty. Others had scoffed, thinking her a waste of the power-rich blood. She was a princess too coddled, too sheltered, to understand hard work.

Like they knew. All they saw was a princess. One forced into a position she didn’t ask for and unable to recognize her reflection.

—-

A voice wakes Link from his sleep one night, and he and Zelda follow it back to the Great Plateau. There they are faced with a series of trials, each one designed to test a specific Champion. They agree to take each trial on. They miss the others so much it hurts, and maybe this will help them understand.

They soon realize just how difficult the trials are. Each trial pushes them to their limits and they have to work together in order to survive. And that isn’t all. The trials force them to remember old memories and feel pains long thought buried.

Together, they find the strength to continue. Through each trial and painful memory, they walk side-by-side. In doing so, they begin to understand more about each other, the other Champions, and even themselves.
