Just from these Kaveh doesn’t see anything unusual. It seems like a regular mansion in the middle of the countryside. Obscenely large, of course. But the people with the kind of money to have mansions in the middle of the countryside rarely have a sense of, well. Any kind of sense.
That is, until Kaveh gets to the first set of blueprints and Al-Haitham’s neatly added in notes along the side.
There and then Kaveh’s hand pauses in the middle of swiping and he feels every thought in his head come to a sudden stop to do a double-take. Al-Haitham, next to him, waiting for this exact moment, lets smoke flow out of his mouth like a sigh.
“Twelve bedrooms,” Kaveh reads out loud. Again, not so bad for a mansion on private property in the middle of the countryside outside of Sumeru City. But—“Twenty-seven washrooms?”
Whole or half doesn’t even matter once you’re over double digits.
“And thirteen kitchens.”
